The Standard Candy company has been family owned and operated in Nashville, Tennessee since 1901. In 1912, the company altered the world of candy when they combined more than one principal ingredient to create America’s very first combination candy bar. The Original Goo Goo Cluster, made with real milk chocolate, caramel, peanuts, and marshmallow nougat, has become a true Southern tradition over the past 100+ years. Over time, Pecan and Peanut Butter Goo Goos were added to the company’s classic lineup, as well as a Premium line of candies which are handmade daily at their flagship retail store, the Goo Goo Shop & Dessert Bar, located in downtown Nashville.
