Shotwell Candy: The Original Salted Caramels (1 lb. box)
Shotwell Candy Co. is owner and Memphis based, Jerrod Smith's life's work and legacy. He started making caramel using simple, fresh ingredients and timeless methods in his home kitchen after working a full day at his day job. His efforts have paid off as Shotwell is growing rapidly, having won awards from Southern Living, Martha Stewart and Garden & Gun.
Each 4oz box will contain approximately 16 individually wrapped pieces.
Salted Caramel: This buttery soft caramel is infused with barrel-aged bourbon, vanilla extract and then finished with crunchy Celtic grey salt.
Hand-Crushed Espresso: Like that perfect cup of coffee on a cold morning, these espresso caramels are something special. The small batch, hand-made caramel is infused with a blend of Latin American and Ethiopian coffees roasted in Memphis by French Truck Coffee, natural vanilla, and then finished with a sprinkling of hand-crushed espresso beans and sea salt.
Bourbon & Maple Pecan: Handcrafted with barrel-aged bourbon, a splash of pure maple syrup, roasted fresh pecans and finished it off with a light sprinkling of crunchy sea salt.
Pumpkin Spice (seasonal): For this seasonal treat, Shotwell Candy has combined one of winter's most amazing flavors with their hand-made caramel for the perfect Pumpkin Spice Caramels. These limited edition caramels feature a classic spice blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and clove, along with a splash of pure vanilla.
Smoked Butterscotch (seasonal): One of Shotwell Candy's owner, Jerrod Smith's favorite candies growing up were those little round, yellow butterscotch disks that you could buy for pennies. He always seemed to have them in the car on our family road trips and he wanted to bring some of those memories back in creating this caramel. They combined our soft caramel with the classic butterscotch flavors and sprinkled a pinch of alder wood smoked salt for a slight campfire smoked finish.
Caramels are best when fresh and should be consumed within 3-4 months of delivery.
If you're able to keep from eating the whole box after opening, we recommend storing your caramels in an air-tight container to help maintain freshness.
